The Garden
This charming cottage garden has delighted visitors throughout the season. With views over the Blackmore Vale this hidden gem of a garden has won a number of awards.
Planting has been very carefully planned to include plants with a perfume. Thus, visitors not only have the benefit of seeing the museum but also of experiencing colourful displays and sweet smells in the pleasant Dorset air.
There is seating available for you to relax and enjoy the garden.
The Gold Hill Museum is closed for the whole of 2010 to allow for work on renovating our Grade II listed buildings, building work on a new learning centre, improving the exhibitions and the display of artifacts.
